TribePad is an award-winning small business, formed in 2008.  Based within the Innovation Centre, S1, the tech start-up builds specialist recruitment software behind some of the UK’s biggest known brands including the BBC, Tesco, House of Fraser and G4S.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

An experienced Account Manager is required to manage new and existing customers and their projects.  The number one priority in this role is ensuring that our customers are happy and remain happy.  The Account Manager will also be responsible for identifying sales opportunities to maximise the profitability of each customer.  This does not mean the Account Manager is responsible for making the sale/upsell, but they must be identifying the opportunities to their customers and to TribePad.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, both with customers and within TribePad
  • Produce project plans & proposals
  • Upsell features and services to customers and identify other sales opportunities
  • Proactively support customers and manage their implementation projects, keeping open communication throughout the process
  • Handover customer implementations to the technical team
  • Train or arrange training with the customer and their users
  • Troubleshoot any issues, assisting the support team where necessary
  • Provide regular updates to the business on customer satisfaction and issues that need resolving

  • An interest/understanding of software is preferred but not essential
  • This role will require occasional travel to customer sites

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER/ACCOUNTANT 

(part time hours to suit: 12-15 hours per week)

A high calibre experienced Accountant is required to have sole responsibility for the accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting of the business, including preparing detailed cash flow forecasts and ensuring legal and financial compliance.  Reporting to the CEO, this is a newly created position to take charge of the finances for an exciting young brand.  You will possess a natural can-do attitude and the flexibility to help with whatever is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of monthly management accounts, for review by the Board of Directors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Weekly cash flow forecasting
  • Posting accruals and prepayments journals
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Manage corporation tax and VAT returns
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Manage KPI reporting
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations, particularly accruals/prepayments
  • Analysis of debtor days and bad debt coverage
  • Monthly payroll

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You will be a qualified accountant with Management Accounts/Financial Controller experience
  • Experience of bank reconciliations and preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup’s, etc)
  • Experience identifying weaknesses and resolving them to a successful conclusion
  • Ability to build effective working relationships around the business and externally
  • Excellent attention to detail; highly diligent and thorough
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Commercially focused
  • Ability to challenge existing working practices
  • Experienced in the areas of EBITDA and Free Cashflow
  • Experience of Xero software or similar computerised accounting records

Salaries: Competitive, dependent on experience
