Having left Plusnet in 2008, Dean was looking for his next big challenge. Wanting to put his interests in machine learning and artificial intelligence to best use, he recognised that the recruitment industry was ripe for change.
Tribepad was founded with the mission to reduce the costs of finding the best talent, while making it simpler for candidates. Working in partnership with experts from recruitment agencies and internal recruiting teams was integral to the formation of Tribepad. After initially focusing on Video Interviewing and social hiring, the company pivoted to develop an Applicant Tracking System, when asked by G4S to help simplify a complex international system deployment.
Dan joined the company to work with recruiters and candidates to design the recruitment journey and scale the platform. The new centralised ATS was implemented successfully, saving G4S more than £1 million in recruitment fees.
