GDPR came into force on 25th May 2018 

The rules around your ability to store and process candidate data have changed, and if your company is not compliant then it may be open to fines of up to €20m or 4% of annual global turnover.

On May 25th 2018, new European laws on data protection came into force. The regulations are collectively known as General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR. GDPR isn’t about candidate data specifically, it is about ANY data your company stores or processes about any European citizen.

Of those who registered for one of our webinars, only 50% knew what GDPR was, and only 30% understood how it was going to affect them. This changed to a staggering 85% after our webinar. We’ve produced a GDPR PDF with information from the webinar.
