We were delighted to be announced as the 2018 winner of The Star, Sheffield Small Business award for technology.
Not only does this award acknowledge the advances we are making in terms of growth and technology, but it also cements our place firmly as part of Sheffield’s growing business community.
What are The Star, Sheffield Small Business Awards?
The awards are a new competition run by The Star to highlight small Sheffield companies and individuals who made a big impression on the newspaper and within the city. Ten winners were announced on the night from within various categories including: new business, training and development, professional services, innovation, customer services, family business, manufacturing, charity/csr, technology and personality.
Hosted by the Virgin Money Lounge, this year’s event featured a guest appearance by Lord Mayor Magid Magid who delivered a fantastic speech, particularly his response to the question “Why Sheffield?”.

We’re immensely proud to have been honoured in this way. Our heritage as a Sheffield company is something that is really important to us.
As a company that is people driven, we felt it only right to have one of our newest team members Sheena, Service Delivery Manager, collect the award. Sheena marks one of four new employees to have joined Tribepad this year, in addition to Ali, Matt and Sophie working in web development, sales and marketing respectively.
We’re building up our team and enhancing the services we provide to our customers all the time, so it’s really nice to be recognised! We’re hiring in sales, service delivery and development so take a look at our latest roles.
